Sloss Furnaces Foundation hosts a 3-week Emerging Artist residency designed for artists interested in developing their studio practice and gaining technical, hands-on foundry skills. Emerging will be provided with a living stipend, materials budget, sand and iron, and studio access.

This opportunity is available to US-based applicants and international applicants who are able to obtain their own visa for the duration of the residency. Unfortunately, Sloss is unable to assist with visa sponsorship at this time.​
